TOTAL launches AdBlue® in the Argentine market

As from the entry into effect in Argentina of the Euro V standard, TOTAL, the fourth private energy company worldwide and leader in the lube market in the region, launches AdBlue® in the country.

AdBlue® is a high purity additive for heavy duty Diesel engines equipped with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology which drastically reduces the level of vehicle toxic emissions.

AdBlue® is part of TOTAL’s sustainable development policy. This additive contributes to environmental care and complies with the strictest Euro standards, which set maximum limits on the emission of harmful components into the atmosphere.

This additive is an ideal supplement for TOTAL’s Low SAPS and Fuel Economy range.

AdBlue® is an aqueous solution comprised of 32.5% high purity urea and of 67.5% deionised water. TOTAL strictly controls quality throughout the manufacturing and distribution process to ensure compliance with composition and purity requirements.

The company offers its new product globally through its commercial outlets in 10 L cans. This presentation allows for the product to be easily transported in the vehicle and is more ergonomic in handling terms. It also offers 1000 L IBCs for cost optimization in transportation companies.
